La raison est que pour ε>0\varepsilon>0, hε:x↦h⁡(x)+ε​∥x∥2h_{\varepsilon}\colon x\mapsto h(x)+\varepsilon\mathopen{\|}{x}\mathclose{\|}^{2} est strictement convexe et que vol⁡∇hε​(U)→vol⁡∇h​(U)\operatorname{vol}\nabla h_{\varepsilon}(U)\rightarrow\operatorname{vol}\nabla h(U) quand ε→0\varepsilon\rightarrow 0. Faut-il plutôt mettre cet énoncé?
