Lemma 3.59.

Let $f$ be a piecewise affine function defined on a convex polyhedron $C\subset N_{\mathbb{R}}$ . Then there exists a polyhedral complex $\Pi$ in $C$ such that the restriction of $f$ to each polyhedron of $\Pi$ is an affine function.
