Remark A.2.

The fan $\Sigma$ determines a compactification $N_{\Sigma}$ of $N_{\mathbb{R}}$ as in [BPS14, §4.1] such that the retraction $p_{\Pi}$ can be extended to a continuous map $N_{\Sigma}\to\Delta_{\Pi}$ .
