Proposition 2.4.

Let $\mathfrak{X}$ be a strongly nondegenerate polystable formal scheme with skeleton $\Delta$ . There is a bijective correspondence between the open faces of $\Delta$ and the strata of $\tilde{\mathfrak{X}}$ given by
