Continuing with Example 3.2, it was proved in [20] that $\check{X}(B)$ is homeomorphic to the quintic and $X(B)$ is homeomorphic to the mirror quintic. Modulo a paper [29] whose appearance has been long-delayed because of other, more pressing, projects, the results of [22] imply that the SYZ conjecture holds for all complete intersections in toric varieties at a topological level.
